Frequently Asked Questions
1. How much will physical therapy cost?
The cost varies depending on the nature of your injury, the types of services we are providing, the results of our initial evaluation, and what you want to accomplish.

We can give you an estimate of the cost and length of treatment after you have come in for your initial evaluation
2. Will my physical therapy be covered by insurance?
Yes, probably. A large number of insurance plans cover physical therapy treatment.

Most insurance companies offer coverage for physical therapy services. However, the amount of coverage varies from policy to policy, so be sure to check your insurance company’s handbook or call your insurance company to verify your benefits for physical therapy. You may have co-pay per visit, or be responsible for meeting a deductible. Once a deductible is met, insurance typically pays 70-100% of charges and you are responsible for the difference. It is important to remember that the doctor’s prescription does not mean that you have authorization from your insurance company for physical therapy. We are providers for most insurance companies and managed health care organizations. We will do all we can to help you through the process of understanding your coverage prior to treatment. Check with your insurance plan administrator or call our clinic - (503) 224.1947 to find out if physical therapy is covered by your insurance.
3. Will I have a copay for my therapy appointment?
Based on information from the insurance companies, we are required to collect copays at the time of service for each appointment that you come to. If we do not receive a copay at the time of service, we will bill you for the copay.
